London - what a fantastic holiday destination. As the UK’s capital city there is a seemingly never ending host of things to do and see. London is one of the premier destinations and vibrant cities in Europe. A they say, when you are tired of London you are tired of life. So for a very lively and incredibly entertaining city break spend it riding big red buses and hitting the West End, spend it in London. You can get flights to London easily and cheaply from many destinations. Flights to London from Australia, the USA and mainland Europe fly straight into Heathrow and a short tube ride will take you the heart of the capital with many great hotels for your stay.

London is famous for a great deal of things from the Queens home, Buckingham Palace, to the big red buses and black cabs but one of the most prominent entertainment-geared aspects is its acclaimed Theatre Shows. The West End in the heart of the city provides fantastic weekend breaks catching all the theatrical showbiz you could possibly wish for. Every single night there are massive productions of some of the most famous and much loved plays, musicals, ballets and operas. You are truly spoilt for choice.

But one explosion of a production that you should positively not miss out on is the acclaimed musical We Will Rock You, a collective effort between esteemed comedian Ben Elton and the truly legendary rock band Queen. It tells of a futuristic society where rock and roll is banned by a totalitarian regime with a taste for electronica. It plays in the extravagant Dominion Theatre so make sure you get yourself some tickets to this remarkable show on your London City Break.
